Little baby on the way. Getting bigger every day. Kicking mommy here and there. God please listen to our prayer.

Keep our baby safe and strong. Let his time with us be long. Help us teach him right from wrong. and we shall praise thee all day long.This little one, though not yet here, Is loved so much, has grown quite dear. Delivery time is growing near.
That’s why we pray our plea you’ll hear.



Please help us Lord, we pray to Thee. With thankful heart, on bended knee. To raise this child that he might be. A happy child because of me.

Every year, around this time, our family gets a dose of happiness.
First, we celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary.
Secondly, our first born son turns 5 and starts kindergarten.
Thirdly, our baby girl celebrates her 1st birthday.

This weekend, I had the most delicious cake. It was extremely beautiful and detailed and you know, that somethings are pretty and that's just it. But this cake, was pretty and pretty tasty.  Yum! I am so  glad that I only got a small piece as we were leaving to avoid any temptation.

Family is Everything

I knew it as a child. Forgot it as a teenager. But I am ever so sure about it as a parent. Family IS everything. These are the people that are happy with you for the little things and bolster you when things are not so good. They know you inside and out and love you just the same. These are the people that remember you when you were 'yay high.'

I had the joy of photographing the immediate and extended family of a good friend. I was quite happy to have been asked to capture this time in their life. Here are just a sneak peek at some of the photos.

 Some people plan every detail of their life and some live in the moment. These two, definitely live in the moment. That spirit of freedom will keep their relationship fresh and lively for many years to come.

Some girls (and guys) plan their wedding day even before they have their first real date. Others, go for a walk and come home as Mr. and Mrs. O.  These two have a story, like no other, for their children and grandchildren.

It's a wedding I won't forget. They were so authentic in a way that I can't quite adequately describe. They truly loved each other and you could feel it. You could feel their happiness with each other. It was palpable. He made her laugh, truly laugh and cry because words were not enough then danced for her like a lion on the prowl completely ignoring that we were in the room. They prayed together, holding hands, heads bowed before God, giving thanks for each other and praying for their marriage. They kissed, whispered to each other, giggled and probably daydreamed about their life ahead. Brian and Rhonda, thanks for the privilege to photograph your wedding. It ws truly an honor.

Ooooh Ahhhhh

I love spring. Why? Because of pictures like this.....

....all this from just a walk in the park. Sweet. I am relaxed just looking at them all over again.

Sweet.Sixteen

You know you're getting old when the kids you knew are turning 16. It wasn't that long ago, at least in my mind,when I was 16. It's a dreamy time for a girl. We dream about being all grown up and having sugar and spice and everything nice. Life is oh-so perfect, except for party-pooping parents who just won't let us do everything. But still, it's a fun time. You really bond with your girlfriends and boys get pretty interesting, especially, the cute, fun, rich ones on TV.

A few Sundays ago, I had the opportunity to meet up with some friends. We hadn't seen each other in a while but their 'baby' was turning 16 and they wanted to capture this time in their life so they called Pru to 'capture life, one click at at time'. She is such a sweet girl that I think she puts the sweet in Sweet Sixteen.

What a lovely young lady!
