*whoosaaah* Inhale.Exhale
This was a busy, busy week for me. Personally and professionally. But the weekend is here. So I will sigh, take a few deep breaths and relax.
I need something pretty, like flowers, to look at to help me relax. I will close my eyes and reflect on all the wonderful things that are happening to me.

How Glad I Am :: Photos by Pru :: Atlanta Photographer
I think, rather know, that I am the luckiest girl in the world. There are a million reasons why. But today, I know I'm lucky because after almost 40 years of marriage, my parents are still married, still happily married and still in love.
That doesn't happen easily and I don't take it for granted. I love those two people and I love that they love each other.
A few months ago, we had a special birthday party for my Dad and when their favorite song came on, they danced like they were newlyweds. It was cute. :)

Knock, Knock, Knock
The mail man came last week and he brought gifts :).
I was soooooo excited.
Look what he brought. Books for everyone! Well, not everyone.
I love it when a family orders these finely designed custom designed coffee table books. I think it's the perfect way to memorialize this time in their life.
Call me. Let's Capture This Time in Your Life.... so you can have your very own custom designed photo book. :)

Welcome to the world :: Photos by Pru :: Stone Mountain Newborn Photographer
Mommy and Daddy sitting in a tree.
K-I-S-S-I-N-G
First comes love,
Then comes marriage,
Then comes the baby in the baby carriage.
Yes, it's true. There's a new baby boy around. He's just perfect. I can't figure out who he looks like but I've never been good a that. I do know that he is loved more than he could imagine.
I love hanging with new little people and their families. New life is sweet and awesome and delightful. I am never dissappointed. I get to drop in, spend a few hours and walk away with memories that capture this special time in their lives.
Mom and Dad, enjoy your baby boy and try to get some rest.

Agape, Philos, Eros. It's all about LOVE
According to Greek scholars, there are three types of love. Agape Love, Philos Love and Eros Love.
Agape Love is the love God has for you. It's the kind of love that is selfless. It does things without wanting anything else in return.
Philos Love is the love between friends. It's based on give and take where both people have to benefit from the relationship in order for it to work.
Then there's Eros Love. You know, erotic love. This is the love that a man has for his woman and her for him. It's the passionate, makes your heart flutter kind of love. There's something magical about this love that makes it a total body experience, if you know what I mean.
Life is good when you have even 1 of these kinds of love, but when you have all three, in one person, it's almost heavenly.
Guess what kind of love these two have?

The view from here :: Project 52 :: Week 8
I wish I didn't have to do it.
Then it would be something I only did for fun.
I know I'm weird but eating, and worse, cooking, are not on my list of favorite things to do.
Except for the part about being hungry and irritable (and wanting to lose weight), I wish it could be on the list of 'Things I do for fun.'
Lately, I've been trying to incorporate extra doses of fruits and veggies into my diet. Veggie Burgers were on the menu this week. And this is The View From Here.
Oh, and our fruit of the week was ...... (ta da!)

Pleasant Memories :: Lithonia Family Photographer
When I was a little girl, probably about 9 or so, I saw a picture of my mother when she was about my age. She was wearing a white lacy dress and her hair was neatly combed and she had a ribbon in her hair. I was enamored with who that little girl was, and so, I would to ask questions about her life as a little girl. It made her a real person, not just my Mommy. Suddenly, I realized in that moment that she used to be a little girl, just like me.
Every Sunday evening, after dinner, we would sit on the porch, she would play her guitar and we would sing. I thought that she had the most beautiful voice I had ever heard. We'd talk about random things between songs. Anything that my little mind could conjure up. We would make-up stories and talk about her life as a little girl. I asked her all kind of questions, like ......
"Mommy, did you have a best friend when you were a little girl?"
"Mommy, did you play dolly house when you were a little girl?"
"Mommy, did you have pretty dresses when you were a little girl?"
"Mommy, did you ...."Mommy, did you.....
The questions never stopped.
One day I asked my mother a question unlike any other question.
"Mommy, who do you love the most?" Her answer was perfect. "I love all of you differently." It was just the answer I needed. I skipped away and returned to whatever wonderful thing I was doing like playing with my dolls.
Every time, I look at the pictures from this family session, I think of my mother's answer and realize that love is a wonderful, amazing, thing and Mommy's and Daddy's always have more than enough to go around. Besides, who could resist loving these cutie-pies.
