Remember this beauty queen? She was just a few days old and about to leave the hospital when her Mommy (me) took this picture.

Well, it's been a little over a year! My how time flies. She's all grown up and a bundle of sunshine. We all LOVE her to pieces.

Yes, Yes, Yes, there's a boy on the way. They've been waiting and wanting him for so long. He's loved already. This was a mother/daughter maternity session. It was beautiful to see the Mommy taking care of her baby who is having her very own baby. I'm really not capable of putting it into words. It was beautiful and moving and a genuine demonstration of the gentleless of motherly love being passed from one generation to the next. Pictures have emotion, and this one speaks volumes.

Just today, I ran across this picture from a couple years ago. It's amazing how much this family had changed. the little guy that's in the belly, is now almost 2 years old and his older brother is still quite a charm. Their family is just as happy today as they were when these pictures were taken.

There's something captivating about a newborn baby. They are snuggly and cuddly and innocent and bring so much joy.  Our family is complete, which is why I love my job, I get to indulge for just a few hours then I walk away with wonderful pictures that will last forever. Sometimes, I'm editing and I get to a picture that I didn't expect and I just have to stop and share. Today, this picture did that for me.

This picture just draws me in. Maybe it's because I love his family. Maybe it's because I think he's awesome. Maybe because I've watched him grow up and I'm amazed. Maybe it's because I know that one day he'll be a man, I'll be an old lady (still fabulous) and I hope he is as eager for life in 30 years.

So, to the M. family, your pictures are almost ready. But for now, this one made me pause. Love you all.
